Florida Aeronautics had the pleasure of attending the MRO Americas conference and exhibition, which was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center from April 14-16. This marked the event’s 20th Anniversary, and it was the largest one to date. Just look at the attendance stats:
  • 800+ companies
  • 15,000 attendees from
  • All 50 states were represented, along with 87 countries.
  • Guest list included 475 CEOs, 619 vice presidents, 2,800+ salespeople

Exhibits included a wide range of products and services throughout the industry, and we were one of the few ground maintenance design/manufacturers in attendance. Our team was busy daily, answering questions and exploring the convention floor to come up with ways to optimize our product line. We got a lot of valuable face time with our current and potential customers, and if there was free food or drink available at an exhibit, we probably sampled it.

Of all the trade shows we attend, this is easily the most convenient and one of the most informative. We came away from this event with a deeper appreciation for the growing aviation industry, not only in South Florida, but also nearby international markets in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. With twelve airports, three of which are large, commercial hubs, it’s clear why Florida Aeronautics chose South Florida for its headquarters.
